A rich but surprisingly easy-to-spread body butter that leaves skin soft, glowy, and hydrated without feeling overly greasy[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using the Fat Oil Body Butter in Caramelt Mami for a little while now and honestly I’ve really liked it. The scent is warm and sweet without being overpowering, and it leaves my skin feeling super soft and moisturized for hours. One thing I noticed right away was the subtle shine it gives your skin — not glittery or greasy, just healthy-looking and glowy. It makes my skin look smoother and more hydrated, especially on my legs and arms.
The texture is definitely thick, but that’s pretty expected with body butters. I actually liked that this one felt a little thinner and easier to spread compared to a lot of other body butters I’ve tried. It still feels rich and nourishing without taking forever to rub in. A little goes a long way too, so I can tell the jar will last me a while.
The packaging feels sturdy and cute, and the product itself feels high quality overall. My only tiny complaint is that I personally prefer lotions that absorb a little faster, but for a body butter this one honestly does a really good job of not feeling too heavy. Overall I’d absolutely repurchase.
